CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT

NOMOBO started working with Parookaville, a German electronic dance music festival in 2017 with the goal to expand the festival's reach and audience in the digital space through a live stream and on demand content and social media campaigns. After great results and a strong partnership established over the years, ING decided to be the main sponsor of the live stream since 2023.

Our team was tasked to make a connection between a leading, financial and an entertainment brand at the same time while creating not only the livestream on Parookaville TV and multiple social channels but to serve the brand partnership in multiple ways.

Partnership Goals and Requirements: Media Value, Content Creation and Brand Elements

Parookaville is known for its strong storytelling and immense stage productions, creating a fully-fledged city and hosting Germany’s largest electronic music festival. Parookaville and our team at NOMOBO created and developed the full scope of the live stream on Parookaville TV through our 5 year partnership, by the time it attracted ING in 2023.

We were tasked to create new sponsorship elements, branded content and visuals tailored to ING's branding that also fits into the unique world of Parookaville.

These visual elements were key to meeting the partnership KPIs and generating media value for ING.

Dedicated for the partnership, we created:

  • Integrated ING and Parookaville brand marketing assets showcased in the livestream and online,
  • Dedicated social first campaign for ING (30+ videos) that explored the onsite brand activations, the partnership and the festival,
  • Pre-produced and onsite video content for both brands.

Live Streaming from 5 Stages with 30% Less Onsite Crew

Bringing More to Audiences through Our Flexible Moving Camera and Kit Set Up and Remote Production Workflow

As part of our broadcast set up innovation that we have been fine-tuning over the years, we created a flexible set up and moving kit to cover more stages in the live stream - with the same amount of gear and crew - and give the online audience a more engaging, unique experience.

With the flexible camera set up, we were able to include field interviews, backstage moments and audience experiences in the live stream making it a unique digital experience.

Alongside that, with our remote production workflow we reduced the number of crew members onsite and created a more streamlined and sustainable production ecosystem. By cutting the number of people onsite, having the hardware onsite but utilizing our Live Center in our headquarters in Amsterdam: we managed to cut travel and equipment costs meanwhile having smaller production footprint onsite.

"I have been looking at multiple live streams for some time now, but NOMOBO is the only company that really nails it!"

178 Hours of Live Streaming with 5.5 Million Views

We created 4 simultaneous streams: 1 curated + 3 stage streams (all in 4K) that resulted in a 7 hour-long TV show and 2 reruns.

Celebrating Germany’s biggest music festival and its official bank, ING, with a global audience was an unforgettable experience. Together, we generated over 5.5 million views online alongside the 225.000 offline participants.

Parookaville's Youtube Subscriber Number Grew from 2.000 to 154.000 since working with NOMOBO

As the result of a long term partnership and investment in the NOMOBO creative and production concept, Parookaville's Youtube subscriber number grew by 7600%.
